Let's Talk AI

As you may have noticed, some of the items that I have available were created using artwork made through AI. I used Adobe Firefly during the spring + summer of 2024- and began to dig into what AI is, how it works, and the ramifications of AI. 

Some of the artwork was generated using my own photographs, commercially licensed photographs, my own drawings- conversion to a watercolour, or different colour palette- or with my own prompts. Regardless, knowing that AI scrapes other artists techniques to learn, without any compensation, didn't hit well with my moral compass. 

Based on what I have learned, AI has many negative effects on the environment, and the art community. I stopped generating AI images during the summer, and once the products I have in stock are finished, I am committed to not producing any other items with AI art.
