Migrating Away from Shopify
If you are here because you are concerned about the discriminatory statements by the Shopify CEO- join the club! I will be super frank- I have been searching for a new platform for the past three years. This isn't the first garbage statement he has made, and given he is a co-founder, I doubt it will be the last.
While I am working to divest from Shopify, I do have some alternative options. I am more than happy to complete a cash order for local pick up here in KW, Ontario. Another workaround is to create an invoice through PayPal if you would prefer to pay by card. All website orders still have the option to choose PayPal or Apple Pay, and both of those bypass Shopify as well. If the cash order or PayPal invoice is what you would prefer, please email mysparklingemporium@gmail.com with the subject line CASH ORDER or PAYPAL order with a list of the items you would like. Include your full name + shipping address if you are not doing a cash order with local pick up.
