How to Use:

1. Choose an indoor spot to hang. Near a window, or somewhere that gets direct sunlight is best. Amanda leans towards using a Command Hook or Plant Hanger installed on the ceiling, vs. a suction cup on a window. 
2. Gently remove your Sparkle Suncatcher from the velvet storage pouch.
3. Hang your Sparkle Suncatcher and enjoy the rainbow glimmer when the sunshine hits!

Where should I hang my new Sparkle Suncatcher?

In or near an indoor window with direct light is best for the most suncatcher glimmers.

What kind of rainbows do the glass prisms make?

I (Amanda) use a few different varieties of glass prisms. Clear and lighter coloured (think pastel) prisms throw out disco ball like glimmers. Darker coloured prisms (like primary colours) give off glimmers that are a similar colour. For example, a deep red prism will have red glimmers. Iridescent or Aurora Borealis/AB style prisms cast multicoloured glimmers. Slide through the photos to see the differences!

What kind of rainbows will the acrylic suncatcher shapes make?

The acrylic suncatcher shapes use the same holographic vinyl that the Suncatcher Stickers do. The rainbows are vibrant - you can an example in the product photos.

How do I clean my new Sparkle Suncatcher?

I pack a soft micro fiber cloth with every Sparkle Suncatcher. They are perfect for removing dust and finger prints. Chemical cleaners can damage your suncatcher, so steer clear of those.

Where are Sparkle Suncatchers made?

Each Sparkle Suncatcher is designed + hand built by me (still Amanda) in Ontario, Canada. They are handcrafted  in small batches, with unique styles - no drop shipping here!

Is a Sparkle Suncatcher safe for kids?

Yes! Kids love sparkles and rainbows, so Sparkle Suncatchers bring them a lot of joy. That being said, each Sparkle Suncatcher is made of delicate glass pieces and small parts that can pose a choking hazard. I highly recommends that you hang Sparkle Suncatchers out of the reach of curious fingers. 

Are Sparkle Suncatchers a fire hazard with direct sunlight?

Nope! The glass prisms and acrylic suncatcher shapes separate light rays, to produce the glimmers and rainbows. They will not magnify the light to start a fire. 

Do you make Sparkle Suncatchers for cars?

Sadly, no. Because Sparkle Suncatcher can create intense (and distracting) glimmers, they are not safe for cars.
