Suncatcher Sticker FAQs:

What are Suncatcher Stickers made of?

They are pieces of holographic vinyl with/out printed art on top. They are removable, reusable + won't leave any adhesive on your window.

Where are Suncatcher Stickers made?

I(Amanda) design the graphics here in Ontario, Canada. The stickers are print + cut by a small business in California, and then I package them up again here in Ontario, Canada with packaging designed by me!

Who created the artwork on my new Suncatcher Sticker?

I use a mix of my own hand drawn art and commercially licensed graphics to create all of the art in my products and packaging. Commercially licensed art work compensates the original artist and I do not use any A.I.

Where should I hang my new Suncatcher Sticker?

On a window that gets direct sunlight. My top tip is to add it to rooms you spend time in when the sun is shining into them. As long as your window isn't coated in a thick layer of mud, you'll get rainbows.

Can the change in seasons affect my rainbows?

As the seasons change, you will notice your rainbows can vary in intensity and the time they show up. Windows that face east will see rainbows in the morning while windows that face west will see rainbows in the afternoon and evening.

Can I use my Suncatcher Sticker in a car?

Yes, you absolutely can. I recommend choosing a style without ink, and placing your sticker on the inside of a window that does not roll down. If you are located in a country with snow + ice, your ink may flake given the colder temperatures. The sets without ink are a great option for this use.

How do I remove my Suncatcher Sticker?

I recommend doing this in warmer weather(+10*C), so that your ink doesn't crack or peel off the sticker. Press a damp, warm wash cloth to the sticker. Gently peel off, and reuse on another window, or store for use another time.

How do I store my Suncatcher Sticker?

Attach it back to the original sticker backing  or in a sticker book!

Is a Suncatcher Sticker safe for kids/pets?

Yes! Kids love rainbows, so Suncatcher Stickers bring them a lot of joy. From my customer's shared experiences, cats love the rainbows too! I do recommend placing stickers high enough that kids/pets cannot reach them, to prevent tearing or the ink from coming off the stickers due to extra handling. The rainbows will bring you delightful photos of your favourite people and furry family members!

Are Suncatcher Stickers a fire hazard with direct sunlight?

Nope! The holographic vinyl separates light rays, to produce rainbows. It will not magnify the light to start a fire.
